Lower kindergarten Age Group 3 years To 4 years

Lower Kindergarten (LKG) is a transitional class between Nursery and Senior Kindergarten. It’s a time when children develop essential skills and a foundation for formal school education. Here are some things that children learn in L KG at Sacred Steps, Play School:

• Language and math: Children focus on phonics, reading, spelling, writing, and numbers 
• Social skills: Children learn to cooperate, take turns, share, and listen to others 
• Curiosity: Children learn to spark and direct their curiosity and natural love of learning 
• Problem-solving: Children learn to organize information and solve problems 
• Confidence: Children develop confidence in their ability to tackle challenges 
• Physical activities: Children participate in physical activities to develop confidence, self-discipline, and team spirit 

LKG classrooms at Sacred Steps, Play School, are designed for active toddlers, and use learning centers and technology to engage children. Activities are often play-based and hands-on, and involve working in small groups.
